Open a scant 20
nights a year, Plin-2 nightclub on Cyprus has a reputation of
being the island’s best and most exclusive nightspot. Famous on
and off the island, the venue opens its doors Saturday nights
during the high summer season as well as Christmas and New
Year’s Eve. It’s no surprise that reservations commence early in
the season.
Martin’s Cypriot representative, Disco Jockey Suppliers Ltd.,
recently outfitted the not-to-be-missed venue with a new Martin
lighting system and state-of-the-art Mach sound system, in
plenty of time for the 2007 season’s May 26th opening.
Located two floors below ground level in the 5 star luxury
Grecian Park Hotel at Cape Greco, Ayia Napa, the club features a
new look each year in order to ensure that loyal guests have a
unique experience each season.
Providing a dynamic, ever changing visual look in the club’s
main room are 8 MiniMAC Profiles, 2 MAC 300 washlights, 20 MX-4
scanners, 2 Atomic 3000 strobes and a Jem ZR 24-7 hazer all
controlled via a PC-based LightJockey control system. Nineteen
stylish Alien 05 recessed color changers add decorative shades
about the club. A Mach speaker system of 24 CM15 medium throw
top boxes works with 8 CW 218 reflex loaded subs to pump out the
powerful sounds of both Greek and International music. A Mach
M-Flex 15 is used as a DJ monitor. The VIP room features 24
Alien 05s along with 8 Mach CM7 medium throw tops with 4 Mach
M152i subs. Lighting and sound design was by Disco Jockey
